Stabilité thermique d’un nouveau mélange de frigorigènes HFO.

Thermal stability of novel HFO blend refrigerant.

Résumé

It is well-known that hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) containing unsaturated bonds in their molecular structure have a shorter atmospheric lifetime than hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and thus have a lower global warming potential (GWP). However, those same unsaturated bonds lead to inferior chemical and thermal stability compared to conventional HFCs. There is a concern that when used as a refrigerant such molecules may deteriorate, either through instabilities in storage or in thermal cycle system, where high pressure compression and heating are repeated continuously over the lifetime of the refrigeration system. In this study, the thermal and chemical stability of a novel HFO blend refrigerant will be verified, and it will be demonstrated that in both the storage conditions and typical refrigeration thermal cycles, the stability is equivalent to existing refrigerants.
