Résumé

For the reduction of CO2 emission, the use of natural energy is strongly required in air-conditioning field. At the same time, new solar air conditioning system with PV that can collect the solar thermal energy and electric energy simultaneously has to be developed since the efficiency of the PV is still low. The authors have developed the pneumatic solar collector for air-conditioning system and carried out the field test to confirm the possibility of this system for cooling and heating. The reason for they focus on the pneumatic solar collector is that thermal capacity of this system is very small and the air is usually used as heat transport medium in the air-conditioning field. In this report, the authors propose the new solar desiccant air-conditioning system that is appropriate to the low-carbon society. This system consists of the desiccant dehumidification system, solar thermal system and indirect evaporative cooler. In this system, the air heated by the pneumatic solar collector is used as the regeneration air of the desiccant dehumidification system. The process air dehumidified and heated by the desiccant dehumidification system is cooled down to the target temperature by the indirect evaporative cooler that adapts Maisotsenko cycle. The indirect evaporative cooler can cool down the air without increase in humidity ratio. Furthermore, the system the authors suggest controls the room temperature with the newly developed indirect evaporative cooler that effectively uses the return air from the room. Therefore, this system can realize the air-conditioning using the natural energy when the solar energy can be acquired.
