Résumé

The authors are investigating radiant cooling system integrated with ice storage system to cope with load levelling, energy saving, and thermal comfort. The tested system consists of a room of 7 m (W) x 10 m (D) x 3 m (H), a ductless ceiling plenum chamber along with radiant ceiling panel, and an air-handling unit to supply air of low temperature and low humidity on the assumption of using ice storage system. The air primary supplied into the ceiling plenum chamber cools the metallic radiant panels installed on the ceiling. Then it is introduced into the room from the end of the ceiling on the perimeter side.
