Systèmes à déshydratant solide : état de l'art et progrès réalisés.
Solid desiccant systems review and progress.
Auteurs : WURM J., CZARCHORSKI M.
Résumé
Application of some heat-activated dehumidifying equipment, particularly that combined with traditional direct expansion ACs has been found to be economically effective at specified electric and gas energy costs. Consequently, their market penetration has been improving, although at a slower pace than expected and forecasted several years ago. There have been two particular reasons for that: first, the unfavourable developments in the gas to electricity price ratio, and second, the capital costs for the equipment that have not decreased as rapidly as expected. While there is nothing much that can be done about the former (short of using waste heat and/or the cases where enthalpy wheels rather than active dehumidifiers can satisfy the process), the latter case is dependent on the performance quality of the desiccant rotors. Recently, there has been identifiable progress in rotor quality and performance. Operating parameters included in the assessment were those of grain depression and pressure drop of active dehumidifiers, and thermal effectiveness and pressure drop of the passive i.e. enthalpy rotors.
