Describes checks of the performance of mechanical ventilation systems in several innovative houses in Switzerland, as well as pilot and demonstration projects. Focuses on discrepancies between the design goals and reality. Problem areas were: commissioning, occupant aceptance and window opening behaviour as well as sealing of ducts and heat exchangers.
