Résumé

Bioclean operating room (BCOR) is used to prevent infections occurring during operations in the midst of operating. A type of vertical laminar flow is applied to make the downflow in the operative field. Usually, uniform air volume is inhaled from air inlets attached to the lower side of the surrounding walls of the room. However, recirculating flow occurs under surgery lights. When particles generated from doctors or an electric scalpel diffuse into the flow, the particles stay there for a long time. The author proposes a new type of BCOR with a biased suction air flow system to ensure cleanliness in the operative field. This system is making slant flow in the field by biasing suction air volume from one air inlet and providing clean air.
