Résumé

The article reviews global markets and companies. It states that, in the 90's, the market in East Asia has continued to grow at an annual rate of 8-12% and the air conditioner market has been growing at a higher rate. Japan is quoted as an exception in East Asia, as its market has already grown to a certain level and has now levelled off. In Europe too, says the article, the rapid expansion seen from '89 through '91 cannot be expected, and the market is now in a period of stable growth.
