Résumé
In this study, the characteristics of the flow boiling heat transfer of an HFO-1234yf/R32 (80/20 by mass%) refrigerant mixture are experimentally investigated. Experiments were conducted under a wide range of heat fluxes from 6 to 24 kW/m2 and mass fluxes from 100 to 400 kg/m2s in a horizontal stainless steel tube with an inner diameter of 4 mm. The measured heat transfer coefficients of the refrigerants mixture were compared with those in a 2 mm tube and pure HFO-1234yf in a 4 mm tube. Visual observation of the flow regime was also conducted. The results revealed that the heat transfer coefficients of the mixture were 30-50% lower than that of pure HFO-1234yf at different mass fluxes and heat fluxes. The heat flux thus has a larger influence on the heat transfer coefficient of the mixture in the 4 mm tube than that in the 2 mm tube.
