Résumé

Cryogenic helium is of specific interest for high Reynolds and Rayleigh number hydrodynamic experiments. Reynolds numbers have been studied in jet experiments using the specific possibilities of the cryogenic CERN facilities. Initial analysis of the CERN data are discussed along the framework of the energy cascade process and the intermittency approach. Convection experiments on Rayleigh covering more than eleven orders of magnitude have given access to the ultimate regime predicted more than fourty years ago. The influence of the Prandtl number is examined in the convection experiments.
