A new analysis attempts to define the saturation of climate-control equipment and components in this big nonresidential market, and to identify the value of this equipment. The report also forecasts 1997 sales estimates. Add up all of the nearly 18,000 chillers sold last year, and the total for the US domestic market comes to just under USD 1 billion, with an average selling price of about USD 52,000.
