Résumé

The machine is single effect and capable of producing both heat and cold; it is air cooled and uses the ammonia-water pair; it does not use a rectification column; instead, a special falling film desorber was conceived to provide rectification. The design cooling mode COP is 0.56. The design heating mode COP is 1.42. A non evacuated, fully stationary CPC type solar collector was designed to satisfy the specific needs of the absorption machine.
