Résumé
Market data for several thousand heat pumps are available in different databases in Europe. The study begins with an analysis and comparison of public available databases (HP Keymark, GET, Eurovent Certita, national databases) in order to illustrate the strengths and weaknesses of those data bases. Evaluation criteria are the completeness of the technical data, the efficiency values but also values like the period of data revision and their representativity of the heat pumps for domestic use available at the European market. The main part of the study combines available databases with product parameters (by manufacturer specifications). Based on this extended database we will present the evolution with time of important parameters, such as used refrigerants and sound emissions. Moreover, different sustainable figures will be suggested and the extended database will be evaluated for its usability to generate these additional sustainable figures. This includes device-class-specific figures like the ratio of the heating capacity and the weight of a unit or the specific refrigerant charges with charge as a function of the nominal heating capacity. Whenever possible real heat load demands are considered to select realistic capacity figures out of the datasets. This increases the reliability and comparability of the used datasets. The novelty of our approach is to generate sustainability criteria with additional value next to figures for energy efficiency and noise level. With this step, the foundation is laid as an outlook to perform massive model-specific Life Cycle Climate Performance (LCCP) analyses for the whole dataset.
