Résumé

Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants do not dissolve well in mineral oils. Nanoparticles can be used to improve the solubility of an HFC refrigerant and mineral lubricant. In the paper, a new refrigeration lubricant applied in the refrigerating system that uses HFC-134a as refrigerant is formed by blending some r-type TiO2 nanoparticles, n-TiO2(r), into mineral oil VG32. The solubility of HFC-134a and the new refrigeration lubricant was investigated. The saturated pressure of HFC-134a and new refrigeration oil is tested. The stability of the nanoparticles n-TiO2(r) in mineral oil VG32 is also tested and discussed. The experimental methods are described. The researching results show that n-TiO2(r) can improve the solubility of HFC-134a with mineral oil VG32, and the new lubricant is steady enough for a refrigerating system. It is possible that the polyolester oil for a refrigerating system with HFC refrigerants can be replaced with the new mineral lubricant that is mixture of nanoparticles n-TiO2(r) with mineral oil.
