Type d'article : Article

Résumé

A detailed analysis of three continental European buildings designed with double facades. In one building, all the air-conditioning facilities had been removed and the facade replaced by a double facade. The second building had a concrete-core tempered ceiling without mechanical ventilation, and the third building had cooling systems combined with mechanical ventilation. The author documents the quality of indoor climate, and the possibilities for other high-rise buildings with little or no cooling facilities.
