Résumé

This paper presents a general technical assessment of compression heat pumps available on the Polish market. The technical parameters and survey of design of heat pumps are limited to the systems of heat capacity up to 30 kW. Heat pump systems are successfully used in heating systems of detached houses in Poland. The component costs of heating systems based on compression heat pumps are discussed. The technical circumstances in order to think heat pumps is the optimum solution for low-temperature heating systems and finally the technical characteristics of propane heat pump are also presented.
