Résumé
Psychrometrics is the science of moist air properties and processes, which is used to illustrate and analyse air-conditioning cycles. It translates the knowledge of heating or cooling loads for the air to be circulated into the duct system. The approximate composition of dry air by volume is: 79.08% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.03% carbon dioxide and 0.01% other gases. A psychrometric chart is presented, along with some examples of air treatment.
