Dover acquires Advansor
Dover claims its acquisition of Danish company makes it the largest manufacturer of CO2 systems in the world
On November 7, 2011 Dover Corporation announced that it had acquired Advansor A/S, which was to become part of Hill Phoenix an operating company with Dover’s Engineered Systems segment.
Advansor, a Denmark-based company specializes in HFC-free CO2 transcritical refrigeration and heat pump systems for supermarkets and light industrial applications. Dover claims that both companies together have more than 550 CO2 systems operating in supermarkets in the USA, Europe and Canada, making them the largest manufacturer of CO2 refrigeration systems in the world.
