L’industrie des crèmes glacées aux Etats Unis (en anglais)

Selon l'Association Internationale Dairy Foods, environ 9% de la production laitière des Etats-Unis est utilisée pour produire des crèmes glacées.
According to the International Dairy  Foods Association, about 9% of the milk  produced by US dairy  farmers is used to produce ice cream.

The  US ice-cream industry  generated USD10 billion in  revenue in 2010 with take-home sales representing  nearly 68% of ice cream sales.
Frozen yogurt is  gaining in popularity.
Retail  sales were up by 9.7% from 2011  to 2012. It is the  highest growth  category in the  ice-cream/frozen  novelty segment.
