Confort thermique dans les pièces dotées de matériaux à changement de phase intégrés.

Thermal comfort in the rooms with integrated phase change materials.

Numéro : pap. ID: 548

Auteurs : OSTRÝ M., CHARVÁT P.

Résumé

The state of thermal comfort depends on a wide range of factors. Thermal comfort is influenced by a set of environmental conditions such as indoor air temperature, mean radiant temperature, relative humidity of indoor air and air velocity. In addition, thermal comfort depends on the clothing and activity of people in a conditioned room. Thermal stability of rooms without air-conditioning depends mainly on the thermal energy storage capacity of envelope. Energy storage can solve mismatches between the demand and the supply of energy and can reduce operating cost. The light-weight structures especially in modern administrative buildings have insufficient sensible heat storage capacity. Phase change materials (PCMs) integrated with wall or ceiling structures can store much more energy compared to sensible heat storage by common building materials. Correct integration of phase change materials contributes to the provision of thermal stability in summer season and minimizes need of air conditioning.
