Résumé

The paper addresses "mature" chilled water thermal storage systems how they have performed and if they fulfil their promises. These remarks are centered around a major Midwestern university hospital thermal storage system with a 2.1 million gal (7 950 000 L) storage tank and covers the original design, economics, operating changes, and experiences over the past few years.
