Résumé

A dynamic type of ice thermal storage system and a floor heating system have been installed in the new town hall in Sawara. These installations allow 76.8% of the annual power used for cooling and 30% of power used for heating the building to be consumed at night; thereby reducing energy costs by approximately 60%. A natural refrigerant circulation system also provides a 60% saving in the power used for conveying the heating and cooling media.
