Résumé

A wide variety of conditions cause anatomic or functional narrowing of the trachea. The most efficient and effective treatment for most of these conditions is tracheal resection with end-to-end anastomosis. Long segmental resection needs tracheal prosthesis implantation. Recently, cryopreserved trachea is expected as the interposed material. The authors reviewed recent topics in experimental tracheal transplantation including cryopreservation of trachea for clinical application and introduced their new experimental model of heterotopic composite graft transplantation. Their expirements showed the epithelium of isografts inhibited the fibroproliferative stenoses of implanted allografts.
