Résumé

In tracheal allotransplantations with allografts, the grafts were rejected without immunosuppression. For clinical application, it is difficult to use immunosuppressants because of the side effects. Cryopreservation techniques are favored for reducing the immune response. The heart valves after cryopreservation were used clinically with good results. Many experimental studies on cryopreserved tracheal allotransplantations have been reported. It appears that cryopreserved tracheal allotransplantations could be performed clinically in the near future. In this article, the authors report their studies and summarize the cryopreserved tracheal allotransplantations for clinical applications.
