Amélioration du transfert de chaleur lors de la condensation interne des frigorigènes.

Enhanced heat transfer in internal condensation of refrigerants.

Auteurs : CAVALLINI A.

Résumé

Enhancement of condensation heat transfer is nowadays common practice in refrigeration and air-conditioning technology. Tube-side heat transfer in air-cooled or water-cooled condensers can be enhanced by using internally grooved surfaces: helical, cross-grooved and herringbone microfin tubes are different enhanced geometries now available on the market. Besides, the use of extruded aluminium multiport minichannels could take root in quite a few air-conditioning applications, due to the advantage gained in terms of air-side pressure drop and charge reduction. The thermal performance of enhanced channels can never be considered disjoined from the correlated pressure drop which, in two-phase flow, affects the temperature profile in the exchangers. Updated research outcomes and procedures for predicting, comparing and evaluating the thermal performance of tube-side enhanced condensation are presented.
