Résumé

Based on a building located in Beijing, the influence of the meteorological parameter, indoor design temperature, the building facade and its effective thermal insulation on the air-conditioning load is researched. Results show that: 1) the influence of outdoor design temperature on the cooling load is significant. The cooling load will increase 5~6% as the outdoor design temperature increase 1°C; 2) the exterior wall or windows of the building toward west must be reduced; 3) when thermal conductivity of the exterior wall varies from 0.54 to 2W/(m2K), the cooling and heating load of the building will increase 4.7 and 38%, respectively; 4) when thermal conductivity of the exterior windows changes from .3 to 6.4 W/(m2K), the cooling and heating load of the building will increase 7.8 and 47.1%, respectively. Therefore, a reasonable selection of outdoor temperature and materials of building envelope can significantly reduce the air-conditioning load.
