Résumé
A desiccant air-conditioning system with a multistage adsorption and regeneration process can be driven by the lower temperature heat source because the process air can be cooled during the adsorption process. If the waste heat from the compression type refrigerator can be used in the regeneration process of this system, the authors can establish highly efficient hybrid air-conditioning system with the compression type refrigerator and multistage desiccant air-conditioning system. In this paper, the authors suggest the four-partition desiccant wheel that can make the multistage adsorption and regeneration process with only one desiccant wheel. As a result of experiment and simulation, the validity of the simulation model is confirmed. Also, the process air can be dehumidified with the regeneration temperature of 40°C and the four-partition desiccant wheel has almost the same performance as two desiccant wheels. This implies that the highly efficient air-conditioning system can be constructed with the four partition desiccant wheel.
