Analyse paramétrique d'un conditionneur d'air à déshydratant utilisant des échangeurs à plaques ondulées.

Parametric analysis of a liquid desiccant air conditioner using corrugated plate heat exchangers.

Résumé

In this paper a parametric analysis of a liquid desiccant conditioner is done which consists of two corrugated plate heat exchangers. In the first heat exchanger (PHE), which operates as a dehumidifier using lithium chloride, return air is dried by concentrated liquid desiccant. Heat of moisture absorption and condensation is coincidently removed by indirect evaporative cooling using outside air treated by the same process. Dried return air that enters the PHE, which is used as an indirect evaporative cooler, is humidified first using water spray nozzles, and then it cools and dehumidifies supply air indirectly to provide ideal supply air conditions. A computer model was developed to design the system and study the effect of different changes in process parameters. The results of modelling showed a strong dependence on the heat and mass transfer area, solution concentration and ratio of air streams mass flow rates
