Résumé

These proceedings of the IEA Annex 24 workshop, held in Maastricht, the Netherlands, on June 2-3, 1997, contain 6 country reports, 5 invited papers and the minutes of the workshop. Contents: Case studies (comfort cooling from district heating; fuel cells and absorption heat pumps; comparison of heat pumps for greenhouses; present status of absorption heat pumps in Japan; a new HVAC system based on cogeneration by an internal-combustion engine; chemical dehumidification by liquid desiccants: theory and experiment; Country reports: USA, Canada, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, United Kingdom. Some of the articles will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
