Contents: Case studies (comfort cooling from district heating; fuel cells and absorption heat pumps; comparison of heat pumps for greenhouses; present status of absorption heat pumps in Japan; a new HVAC system based on cogeneration by an internal-combustion engine; chemical dehumidification by liquid desiccants: theory and experiment; Country reports: USA, Canada, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, United Kingdom.
