Résumé

This Appendix specifies the associated methods of testing for acceptability of fluorocarbon refrigerants regardless of source (new, reclaimed and/or repackaged) for use in new and existing refrigeration and air-conditioning products. Refrigerants covered include: R11, R12, R13, R22, R23, R32, R113, R114, R115, R116, R123, R124, R125, R134a, R141b, R142b, R143a, R152a, R218, R245fa, R290, R600, R600a, as well as the 400 and 500 series refrigerants blends. The Appendix supersedes Appendix C-1999 to ARI Standard 700 and can be downloaded from the AHRI Web site: www.ahrinet.org/Content/FindaStandard_218.aspx. See also this Bulletin, reference 2009-0482.
