Résumé

This study examined reducing cooling energy by removing heat from lighting fixtures that place a large heat load on buildings as a method of saving energy during the summer. Lighting heat was examined in a steady temperature and humidity room. After the lighting heat exhaust system was installed in an office, the heat actually exhausted in the summer was measured. The lighting heat exhaust system was found to be effective at reducing the cooling load in the summer; when it was applied to fluorescent lamps (32 W × 2) installed in an office, which were exhausted at 12.8 CMH(Cubic Meter per Hour), nearly 52% of the lighting heat was removed.
