Résumé
The paper aims to convey the experiences gained in European installations with secondary refrigerants or coolants and operational problems in these installations from design to commissioning stages, along with lessons learnt from these applications. The important design lessons and behaviour of secondary refrigerants for real applications are presented in a form that will help practising engineers, contractors and consultants to develop an effective and efficient secondary refrigeration cooling system.
