Résumé

Cryogenics is vital in advancing quantum technologies by providing the low and ultra-low-temperature environments necessary for operating quantum systems. Quantum technologies, such as quantum information processing (QIP), quantum computing, quantum sensors, and quantum metrology research, rely on the ability to construct and manipulate nano-devices based on quantum principles. These devices require precise control at the single quantum level under various operating conditions, including cryogenic environments ranging from 4 Kelvin to absolute zero, to maintain coherence and minimize thermal noise.
This keynote will present the recent advances in cryogenics technology, focusing on the design and integration of cryogenic instrumentation and control systems. It will also address the challenges associated with cryogenic systems and explore emerging quantum solutions. Additionally, we will present the impact of cryogenics on the scalability and performance of quantum processors and the prospects for cryogenic systems to enable the next generation of quantum solutions.
