Caloduc à écoulement pulsatoire : théorie et expérimentation.

The approximate pulsating heat pipe theory and experimentation.

Résumé

Two-phase autonomous heat transfer devices - heat pipes and thermosiphons - were demonstrated to operate very well and have wide applications in the modern power engineering. Similar devices, which have different spiral-coiled constructive forms, without a capillary porous structure, were designed by Japanese specialists and were named pulsating heat pipes. This paper is devoted to the study of these devices' action mechanism.
