Résumé

Recently, as the refrigerant channel diameter of heat exchangers becomes smaller to increase heat transfer area density and decrease the refrigerant volume, the effect of surface tension on the flow behaviours would become stronger. This study deals with the evaporating heat transfer of HFC-245fa in a copper horizontal triangular mini-channel with the hydraulic diameter of 1.44 mm. Local heat transfer coefficients had been measured with the mass flux of 50, 100, 200 kg×m-2×s-1. At the downstream of the hating section, flow behaviours had been observed and cross-sectional void fraction had been measured by a capacitance sensor. As the results, it was confirmed that the void fraction was low due to liquid accumulation caused by surface tension. At the low mass flux of 50 kg×m-2×s-1, the heat transfer was dominated by nucleate boiling, while the heat transfer was dominated by film vaporization under the high mass flux of 200 kg×m-2×s-1.
