Résumé

The factors which have an effect on the compressor performance are analysed, such as: re-expansion of gas from clearance volume, pressure drops, heat gain to refrigerant, internal gas leakage and deviation from isentropic compression. Mathematical equations are introduced in order to calculate the compressor volumetric efficiency.
