Caractéristiques supersoniques et ondes de choc dans un courant diphasique le long de la tuyère d'un éjecteur de dioxyde de carbone.

Supersonic characteristics and shock waves in two-phase flow along a nozzle of a carbon dioxide ejector.

Résumé

The main objectives of the study are to elucidate the types of shock waves that appear in the nozzle of an ejector of a CO2 refrigeration cycle and the phenomena of these shock waves in two-phase flow of CO2. Blow down tests of CO2 through converging-diverging nozzles were carried out. Two types of shock waves are observed. One type is dispersed and the other has a gradually increasing pressure. The prediction of shock waves was conducted by integrating the basic equation of saturated two-phase flow. Two different types of shock waves are shown according to their different relaxation times.
