Résumé
The energy consumed in buildings accounts for one quarter to one third of the total energy consumed in the world. And the energy consumption of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) is over half the total energy consumed in buildings. Therefore, HVAC energy-saving control is becoming important. To control HVAC systems in a multi-zone model, this study uses an on-off controller, an optimized proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controller, a fuzzy controller, and a neuro-fuzzy controller. The heat conduction of the walls of a building is modeled by 3 electrical resistors and 2 capacitors. Heat variations due to the change in outdoor temperature, the number of occupants and electric lights are considered. Based on simulation results, this study compares performances of the above four controllers in the multi-zone building model. The performance criteria are regulation capability under thermal disturbances and energy consumption. Simulation results show that the neuro-fuzzy controller has the fastest settling time and the optimized PID controller has good anti-disturbance ability. The fuzzy controller has the least energy consumption.
