Résumé

Displacement ventilation is driving room air which asks for unmixing to the maximum: inlet air be installed at the lower part of the room, and fresh air be blown in with low velocity and 3 to 4 deg C lower than room temperature. Thanks to its heavier density, the fresh air stays on the floor and spread over, forming a fresh air lake. Circulation of air is obtained by setting a surface air cooler in the inner top of an air duct, of room height, with openings at its top and its bottom.
