Résumé

Decreased of cost and environmental burden throughout its life cycle were the specifications to be addressed for the Liberty Tower at Meiji University. CO2 emissions at the operating stage were reduced by 40% by adopting natural ventilation and a hybrid air conditioning system etc. in a high-rise building compared with the case of a standard design, and life cycle CO2 emissions were reduced by 37%.
