In addition to thermal comfort, the crucial factor in evaluating indoor air quality is olfactory comfort. The benefits of a positive hedonic note in indoor air are substantiated by significant research and are based on the fact that the sense of smell directly influences human emotions and therefore the well-being of occupants of rooms.
