Résumé

Temperature spans of AMRs with different thermal design have been measured. We introduced an insulating layer (i.e., air gap) in a perpendicular direction to the flow of heat transfer fluid. Also tube fitting material at both AMR ends has been changed from metal to plastic. Also we have measured temperature spans of layered AMRs made of non-rare earth MnFe materials. Major interest has been put on the effect of FWHM. In a rotary magnetic refrigeration system, by newly introducing magnetic bands, the cogging torque was reduced to result in lower actuation power. Also, for compact system without external motor, a concept of integrated coil actuator has been tried and its possibility in early stage has been demonstrated.
