Résumé

By an increase in turnover and expansion in service Plieger b.v. has built a multi-purpose warehouse building consisting of a ZPS system (semi automatic operated warehouse system) and a packing department. Near the warehouse, a car-park garage has been build. The total extension is completed in one building design. The new warehouse building is provided with Reznor direct gas fired heating and air-handling systems. The central warehouse in Zaltbommel comprises, with the new extension, 42 000 m2. From this and by the optimal operated logistic system and forwarding with their own fleet, 100 000 articles will be delivered to customers. The company where 900 people are employed celebrated its 90th anniversary in September 2008. During this memorable year, Plieger shall open the fiftieth branch office in The Netherlands.
