Résumé

Energy performance of non-residential buildings especially for restaurants is very limited. On the other hand, detailed energy audit is a very valuable procedure for framing a successful energy management plan. Therefore; this paper presents the result of a comprehensive energy audit at a restaurant. Conservation opportunity is found in the refrigeration system after analyzing the measurements. Data are logged every one minute by using a suitable measuring device. The audit proved that there is an encouraging potential to save around 17.2% from the overall energy consumption of the refrigeration system with an immediate Payback Period.
