Résumé

For many vapour compression processes the natural refrigerant CO2 is considered a suitable alternative to the still widely used synthetic working fluids. So far, only the pure refrigerant is taken into account for simulation processes and the influence of the circulating lubricating oil is neglected in most cases. Since the data available to describe CO2-oil mixtures is limited, highly accurate property data for a CO2-polyalkylene glycol (PAG) oil mixture have now been determined experimentally to enable more accurate process simulations.
The following properties were to be measured and discussed in the publication: miscibility behaviour, satura-tion vapour pressure, density, and viscosity. The measurements range from -40 to 140 °C and up to 160 bar within the miscible region for density and viscosity and up to 180 bar for vapour pressure measurements. The data obtained are compared with the available literature data.
