Their outputs range from a few kilowatts up to several megawatts, temperatures from 4 to approximately 1300 K, pressure up to 20 megapascals, speeds up to 300,000 rpm and rotor disk diameters from approximately 16 mm to approximately 2 m, with machining spanning the entire range between precision engineering and heavy machine construction.
