Résumé

The need to refurbish South Australia's Barmera Hospital air conditioning was positively resolved by a practical engineering approach to the heat loads and the first application of the patented Shaw Method of air conditioning. This is a report on the design approach, the changes to the existing services infrastructure, and the control system which is an essential part of the Shaw Method.
