Efficacité énergétique dans des centres commerciaux.

Energy efficiency in shopping centres.

Auteurs : UMBERGER M., DOLINAR J.

Résumé

Over the past six years, Mercator has invested heavily in building large shopping centres. During the process of establishing a target building design system, the authors have installed more modem and energy efficient equipment and installation systems in each new generation of buildings. Because of this, they can discuss evolutionary building designs in new shopping centres where overall energy consumption is decreased. The consequence of lowering energy consumption is the use of efficient energy consumption technologies (EEC) and renewable energy resources (RER) which have been upgraded by building new shopping centres. The authors' objective is to reach a systematic reduction of energy consumption in buildings which are designed and constructed by Mercator. In this research, they have described the evolution in undertaking EEC and RER measures for the reduction of energy consumption in four selected Mercator shopping centres and they have presented the results of energy consumption analysis in three Mercator shopping centres which were built over a period of two years.
