Résumé

In conventional methods of detecting leaks, leak detection was often based on the state variables in the steady state of the refrigeration cycle. These methods had the problem of reduced detection accuracy in operating patterns that did not reach the steady state or in circuits that had elements that adjusted the difference in refrigerant volume, such as intermediate pressure receivers. In this study, we studied the feasibility of predicting leaks from the transient behavior of the refrigeration cycle. Specifically, we conducted simulations using a model that could predict transient behavior and investigated the differences in transient behavior according to the amount of refrigerant charge. Based on the results, we constructed a simple regression model to predict the amount of leakage. This regression model has shown that it is possible to predict the amount of leakage, although only under limited conditions.
