Résumé

Oil hold-up and void fraction data have been collected for smooth, axially grooved, and 18° helically grooved tube evaporators at a variety of mass fluxes and qualities. This data will be discussed and compared to results of tests run with pure refrigerants to see how oil affects refrigerant charge.
